I really loved the concept of this product and was excited to work on it with my son. Unfortunately, we found the instructions to be unclear and difficult to follow. Although it’s labeled as suitable for ages 12 and up, even as an adult I found the steps confusing.
As a result, my son glued some pieces in the wrong places, and when we tried to correct the mistake, the base boards split and the project was ultimately unusable.
I think this product would benefit greatly from a more detailed, step-by-step instruction guide with clear pictures—similar to LEGO instructions—which would make the building process much more intuitive and enjoyable.
Bought this as a Christmas present for my hubby. Got a personalized sign for it as well. It turned out fantastic. He loves it. Was easy to build.

ALPINE CHALET WAS MIMI & AURBIE’S FAVORITE
We’re on a yearlong grandparenting excursion and have planned a very special 2023 Christmas project with our kids, grandkids, and family. We built a special rustic pine Christmas tree/shelf to display our family cabin village. We purchased 17 cabin kits, one for each parent couple, grandparent couple, great grandparents, as well as one cabin for each grandchild (plus some extras as we are hoping for more grands). It took us 6 months to have each grandchild over to spend time with them to build and paint their personal log cabin. Each cabin has their name engraved on it as a keepsake. Then this Christmas we will arrange all the cabins on the special Christmas tree shelf in the form of log cabin Christmas village over the holidays.
We found that the cabins reflect quality craftsmanship, simple instructions, and sturdy construction. The owner of the company was very helpful in assisting us with the large order and selections. After building a few our confidence level grew to the point that we even customized a few cabins by adding windows, doors, a second story and foam rock chimneys.

The Alpine Ski Chalet is a wonderful kit and product. It was a Christmas present to myself for this past holiday and I really enjoyed the building process and experience of assembling the kit. The kit is of very high quality; you will need to sand, and maybe, file some pieces, take you time and carefully study the instructions, but your patience will be rewarded with a beautiful finished product. I plan on buying a few more to build!
The Swiss ski chalet is a fun project! I bought it for myself (I’m 62) after buying the log cabin bird house kit. I really like the detailed instructions, they make sense and give you practical tips for assembly. I’m happy to support a local Canadian company and really appreciate instructions that make sense. I’d highly recommend this for kids or adults!

This is the second one I purchased and this one is a gift for a young, little girl overseas. Her parents will help her to put this together but she will love it and it will encourage her to visit beautiful Canada when she is older. This chalet is like a work of art and it's a lot of fun to put together and you will have many years of enjoyment looking at it. I can't stop looking at mine!
I enjoyed building the bird house so much that I thought I'd try another project - the chalet. It's so much fun to be able to put something together from things made in Canada. It was easy to put together and the end result looks beautiful on my bookshelf. I will definitely be buying more for friends/family overseas who have nothing like this where they live and will get just as much joy out of it and learn a little about beautiful Canada. Thanks to the folks who design and package the pieces, it's pure joy from my end.

I sat down last night and built the chapel tree ornament. It was fun. I also bought the chalet and decided to build it right after my tree ornament. The chalet was fun to build too. Turned out great and is now a table ornament. Thank you for creating such awesome crafts. It was funny to look at the recommended age on the package. 4+. I'm 53 this coming month. I will be ordering many more of these kits. Highly recommend these projects for all ages. Kits are well put together. Instructions are easy to follow. Pieces are clean and assemble easily. For those of us older folks.... Great for practicing patience. Lol. Thank you again!!!
