We offer a fun, educational project that can be enjoyed by all members of the family, and when you're done putting it together you will have created a keepsake that can be enjoyed for years.

People young and old worldwide buy Log Cabin Toys for many different reasons and applications. Schools, scouts, summer camps, ski and snowboard camps, sports teams, birthday parties, weddings, non profit organizations, hospitals, seniors centers, realtors, and full size log home manufacturers have all used our kits for group projects, fund raising and promotional gifts. Our personalized engraving is very popular for special events and promotions.

Yes. All Log Cabin kits contain all the materials and instructions needed to assemble the cabin. All of our kits contain a bottle of non-toxic white glue with an easy dispensing re-sealable tip for easy and convenient assembly.

The logs and roof parts of Log Cabin Toys are made from Western Hemlock. We use Western Red Cedar for some of the smaller parts that are laser cut and laser engraved.  All of the wood used is sourced locally in British Columbia. We pride ourselves on using local and renewable materials as much as possible providing our customers with a truly authentic and environmentally friendly Canadian product. There is no finish applied to our parts so it is non-toxic and safe for everyone.

Hemlock is naturally resistant to darkening with exposure to light. While all wood darkens over time with exposure to sunlight, hemlock often remains true to its original colour.  For dusting, a light damp cloth will work well however, if you do wish to add a protector hemlock readily accepts finishes ranging from clear coatings, transparent lacquer, varnishes, oils, or wax to a full selection of stains and paints.
